HOMECOMING SCHEDULE
Homecoming is set for Friday, October 6, 2023. The Alumni Band will be performing with the WPHS Sound of the Wildcats in the stands as usual. Please plan to come and participate, and don't forget to download, print and bring your music with you. Simply click on the orange button.
The Alumni Band will meet at Brookshire Elementary starting at around 5:30 PM and will walk in with the band directors around 6:00 PM. This is your only way into the game for free. If you want to participate in the pregame show on the field at approximately 6:45 PM, you must wear a black WPHS Reunion or Band T-shirt and gather on the sidelines when we are given the instructions from the directors. The game starts at 7:00 PM. Please come, even if you have to purchase a ticket and arrive late. We need lots of players in the stands! If you need an instrument, make sure you contact us (orange button below) so we can see if there is a school instrument available. Borrowed percussion equipment and instruments will be loaded by the band, but you must get it from the trailer and return it before you leave the stands...BYO Sticks!
80th Anniversary Shirts are still available, and they are perfect to wear for the homecoming games, whether you are playing or not! All T-shirts are first come first serve, while supplies last, for $10 each. We will be selling them at Brookshire before we walk in with the band, and exact change or checks (made out to WPHSBAA) are encouraged! After the game, make sure you stay to watch the Sound of the Wildcats perform their new half-time show, Carmen! We hope to see you there!
